The FIP World Cup, padel’s world championship for national teams, is played in Doha from 2 to 7 November 2026. Sixteen men’s teams and 16 women’s teams compete for €1.2 million in prize money.

This is not a tour event for regular pairs: countries compete, through their national teams.

Where it is played

The venue is the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex. It has hosted four editions of Premier Padel’s Qatar Major and the last team World Cup.

The International Padel Federation (FIP) and the Qatari federation announced the venue in July. Doha will host again in 2028.

The prize money

The FIP talks about “record prize money” and “the highest prize money ever awarded in an official Padel competition”. It is split equally between the men’s and women’s competitions. The FIP has not published how much each team receives. In 2028 the total will rise to €1.35 million.

How it fits into the calendar

The World Cup falls between two Premier Padel tournaments. The Kuwait Major ends on 31 October and the Dubai P1 starts on 8 November.

There is one day between the two events: Sunday 1 November, between the Kuwait final and the start of the World Cup.

Every date on the tour is in our Premier Padel calendar.
