Since Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia started playing together in 2023, more than half of the men’s World Padel Tour (WPT) and Premier Padel tournaments have ended the same way: with the two of them lifting the trophy.
The numbers
From the start of their partnership up to Milan 2026, they have 54 titles each. Alejandro Galán has 25. Federico Chingotto has 20.
The count, compiled by Puntazos Padel, covers 97 tournaments: 24 on WPT and 73 on Premier Padel. Coello and Tapia won 54. Every other pair shared the remaining 43. That is 55.7% of everything played on the two tours over the period.
One clarification to avoid double counting. Each tournament adds one title to each of its two champions. Coello’s 54 and Tapia’s 54 are the same 54 tournaments, won together.
Year by year
Their first season as a pair brought 15 trophies: 11 on WPT and four on Premier Padel. Then came 14 Premier Padel titles in 2024, 13 in 2025 and 12 in 2026 up to Milan. The yearly Premier Padel breakdown is on both players’ official profiles at the International Padel Federation (FIP).
The tally drops by one title a year. And 2026 is not over yet.
The best of the rest, 29 titles behind
Galán is next with 25, 29 fewer than each of the leaders. Chingotto has 20. Together they have won 19 of those Premier Padel trophies; the rest of their titles in the period came with other partners. The FIP’s official stats make it possible to separate those results from titles won before 2023.
Behind them, Juan Lebrón, Franco Stupaczuk and Martín Di Nenno are level on nine. Jon Sanz, Coki Nieto, Leo Augsburger and Mike Yanguas have two each.
| Player | WPT (2023) | Premier Padel (2023-2026) | Total since 2023 |

| Juan Lebrón | 4 | 5 | 9 |
| Franco Stupaczuk | 6 | 3 | 9 |
| Martín Di Nenno | 6 | 3 | 9 |
| Jon Sanz | 0 | 2 | 2 |
| Coki Nieto | 0 | 2 | 2 |
| Leo Augsburger | 0 | 2 | 2 |

| Edu Alonso | 1 | 0 | 1 |
| Juanlu Esbrí | 1 | 0 | 1 |
| Curro Cabeza | 0 | 1 | 1 |
| Diego García | 0 | 1 | 1 |
The ones who broke through once
The list ends with six players who won a single title. Paquito Navarro took the 2023 WPT Master Final with Chingotto. Momo González won in Reus with Yanguas, and Edu Alonso and Juanlu Esbrí were champions in Alicante. Both of those events were Open 500 tournaments, according to their organiser’s match reports.
Curro Cabeza and Diego García joined the list by winning the 2025 Gijón P2.
Dominance or monotony?
Some will see a predictable tour in these numbers. Others will see a once-in-a-generation pair. Both readings fit the same table.
What is beyond debate is the figure: 54 tournaments for them and 43 for everyone else. Anyone hoping to win a top-level padel event knows who they have to beat.
How we counted
The count includes the men’s WPT tournaments of 2023 (Open 500, Open 1000, Masters and Master Final) and every Premier Padel tournament from 2023 up to Milan 2026, including the season Finals. It leaves out titles won before Coello and Tapia teamed up, FIP Tour events, the World Championships for national teams, the World Pairs Championship and exhibitions. Each tournament counts as one title, whatever its category and however many ranking points it awards.
Data checked on 20 and 21 October 2026. Puntazos Padel’s own count, based on the 2023 WPT calendars, the FIP’s official statistics and the organisers’ match reports. Cut-off: Milan 2026, included.
