About Puntazos

Puntazos Padel is a padel news site for people who play, with a weekly newsletter.

How we work

• We pick. We publish what matters in padel and leave out the filler.
• Easy to read. Every story tells you what happened, why it matters and the numbers worth knowing. We check the figures and link to our sources.
• No ads in the way. There are no ads covering the text and no pop-ups while you read. Part of the site is funded by PadelProShop affiliate links, which we always flag: we explain how in transparency.
• You help us improve. At the end of each story you can vote on what you thought of it. We use your votes to adjust how we write.

• News and analysis: what matters on the pro tour (results, rankings and the story behind each number), explained clearly.
• Gear guides: how to choose shoes, balls and accessories for your level.

Who writes

Puntazos was founded by Carlos Peñalba, who writes news and practical pieces. Alejandro Martín, Javier Montes and Nicolás Valcárcel are pen names of the editorial team, and Andrea Muñoz is the byline of the desk that specialises in women’s padel. Each brings a different angle: news, analysis, opinion, match reports and women’s padel.
